Best Reads of October & November

Sorry for the absence over the last two months…

It was a much needed mental-health break while I dealt with a slew of stuff in my personal life. I’m finally feeling reinvigorated and excited to start blogging again! BUT please keep in mind it is the holiday season and I have 3 young kids. Between all of the shopping, Santa visits, Christmas parties, the annual plays at the kids’ school, special events going on in our community, family get-togethers, and the rest of our regular holiday traditions, I am always stretched at this time of year. So I will be posting again, but probably just on a semi-regular basis until after New Year’s. Then in January I will start posting regularly again.

Right now, though, I want to take a moment to highlight my favorite reads of October and November. Even though I haven’t been blogging, I’ve enjoyed quite a few books in the past couple months. There are five in particular which really stand out to me. They’re not all current/new releases, but they are books which I absolutely LOVED so I want to share them with all of you just in case you haven’t read them yet. They are as follows:

Where the Crawdads Sing
by Delia Owens

Water for Elephants
by Sara Gruen

The Nightingale
by Kristin Hannah

Unbroken
