WWW Wednesday: August 22nd, 2018

Another week has passed and it’s time for WWW Wednesday again!

WWW Wednesdays

This meme is hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

To join in on WWW Wednesday, just answer these three questions and post the link to your responses on Sam’s blog and in the comments below.

I am currently reading:

Bon Bons to Yoga Pants by Katie Cross

Lexie Greene has always had such a pretty face.

Unfortunately, that’s where it seemed to stop. She’s grown up hearing her Mother constantly remind her that she needs to lose weight. And twenty-three-year-old Lexie knows she’s overweight.

With her younger sister’s wedding on the horizon and a crush to stalk on Facebook, Lexie’s had enough. She gives up her constant daydreams about food and joins a dieting group. As the pounds melt away at the gym, she finds that life on the other side of junk food isn’t what she thought.

Bon Bons to Yoga Pants is an inspirational hit about a girl coming to terms with herself, and her past, all while navigating a world of food and fitness.

I finished reading:

What I’m reading next:

The Other Woman by Sandie Jones

A deliciously disturbing, compulsively readable debut domestic suspense–prepare to meet The Other Woman: there’s nothing she won’t do to keep you away from her son …

Emily thinks Adam’s perfect; the man she thought she’d never meet. But lurking in the shadows is a rival; a woman who shares a deep bond with the man she loves.

Emily chose Adam, but she didn’t choose his mother Pammie. There’s nothing a mother wouldn’t do for her son, and now Emily is about to find out just how far Pammie will go to get what she wants: Emily gone forever.

The Other Woman is an addictive, fast-paced psychological thriller about the destructive relationship between Emily, her boyfriend Adam, and his manipulative mother Pammie.

That’s my WWW Wednesday for this week. What have YOU read this week?dorie

  1. Did you enjoy the Agatha Christie book? I’m reading one of hers right now as well. I don’t believe any mystery author sets a scene quite like she does with such interesting characters. If you listen to audiobooks, Dan Stevens (of Downton Abbey fame) narrates “And Then There Were None”, which was soooo amazing I immediately went to find anything else he narrates. Here is my WWW post if interested: https://greatmorrisonmigration.wordpress.com/2018/08/22/www-wednesdays-august-22-2018/

    1. Sorry about taking so long to respond. I’m so far behind with responding to comments.🙈 I’ve never really gotten into audiobooks, but thanks for the recommendation! Maybe I’ll enjoy them more if I find ones with good narrators. And of course, I loved the Agatha Christie book, although I have heard so many people say it’s her best book and I’m not sure I agree with that. It’s excellent, but not necessarily her best… Just my opinion. 🙂
