Book Blogger Hop 6/1-6/7

Book Blogger Hop

This meme is hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer.

This week’s question:

What do you think your blog says about you? (submitted by Cathy @ What Cathy Read Next)

My answer:

Well, of course the biggest thing my blog says about me is that I love to read! It is a book blog, after all. 😉📚 And I hope it shows that I am a fair and honest reviewer, and that I am pretty open-minded, willing to read from several different genres.

I also think my blog shows how much I love routine, since I post the same memes on the same days every week. And, if I’m being completely honest, I think it shows that I’m somewhat lazy, since I post mostly memes (instead of a lot of reviews or discussion posts). Although, I want to point out that it’s not always due to laziness. I actually have a bunch of discussion posts sitting in my drafts, but I always second-guess myself or think that they’re not good enough, so they never get posted. I am my own worst enemy sometimes. 🙈

Now I’m curious…🤔 What do YOU think my blog says about me? And what about your own blog? What does it say about you?

Leave me a comment below! I’d love to hear your thoughts!

  1. Your blog definitely showcases that you have a diverse and interesting taste in books, and you’re willing to expand your reading preferences whilst offering honest and open reviews! Of course, it definitely does a good job of showing that you love books!

I completely know what you mean in regards to the discussion posts and feeling like they’re ‘not good enough to post’, but I think it’s important for us to remember that our blogs are our own personal platforms. We can use them as we wish, and sometimes we need reminders that our content can be whatever we want! I think my hesitation to post what I want also means that my blog doesn’t really showcase who I am, so that’s something I’ll be trying to work on, but my blog is still fairly new.

I definitely think that you should post your discussion posts, however. Even if they’re just rambles and completely unrelated, it’s always nice to have a platform to share our thoughts and of course they’ll be good enough!

Feel free to check out my own answer if you wish!
