WWW Wednesday: March 21, 2018

Another week has flown by and it’s time for WWW Wednesday again!

WWW Wednesdays

WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

To join in this meme, just answer these three questions and post the link to your responses on Sam’s blog and in the comments below.

I am currently reading:

The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton

36337550

GoodReads Synopsis:

How do you stop a murder that’s already happened?

At a gala party thrown by her parents, Evelyn Hardcastle will be killed–again. She’s been murdered hundreds of times, and each day, Aiden Bishop is too late to save her. Doomed to repeat the same day over and over, Aiden’s only escape is to solve Evelyn Hardcastle’s murder and conquer the shadows of an enemy he struggles to even comprehend–but nothing and no one are quite what they seem.

Deeply atmospheric and ingeniously plotted, The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle is a highly original debut that will appeal to fans of Kate Atkinson and Agatha Christie.

I have this listed under “currently reading”, but it’s actually the book I am planning to read next. Since finishing I Have Lost My Way, I haven’t had a chance to pick up a new book yet. But I was approved for this book through NetGalley and I’m excited to start reading it.

I just finished reading:

I Have Lost My Way by Gayle Forman

36470842

GoodReads Synopsis:

A powerful story of empathy and friendship from the #1 New York Times Bestselling author of If I Stay.

Around the time that Freya loses her voice while recording her debut album, Harun is making plans to run away from everyone he has ever loved, and Nathaniel is arriving in New York City with a backpack, a desperate plan, and nothing left to lose. When a fateful accident draws these three strangers together, their secrets start to unravel as they begin to understand that the way out of their own loss might just lie in helping the others out of theirs.

An emotionally cathartic story of losing love, finding love, and discovering the person you are meant to be, I Have Lost My Way is bestselling author Gayle Forman at her finest.

I was selected for an early copy of this book through the First To Read program. I love reading Gayle Forman’s books because they have so much heart and emotional depth in them. This book was no exception. It was a quick read and everything happens over the course of a single day, but it was still thoroughly engrossing and entertaining, even while dealing with serious topics like loss and loneliness. I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it.

What I’m reading next:

I haven’t decided what I’m going to read after The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. I have been approved for several books on NetGalley and selected for a couple others through the First To Read program, so I definitely have options. My focus for this week, however, is to finally finish and post a couple of the ARC reviews that I have sitting in my drafts half-done.

That’s all for my WWW Wednesday for this week. What have YOU read this week?
