My Favorite Books of 2017

Happy New Year!

I still can’t believe it’s 2018! Honestly, 2017 was a pretty crappy year for me. The worst part was definitely the unexpected loss of my father in April, but there were plenty of other not-so-good things that happened in my personal life last year. However, there were also some good things that happened. I started this blog, for one, and I read a lot of really great books. As I was looking back over my books on GoodReads, I decided to compile a list of my favorites. So here are all of the books that I gave 5-stars to in 2017.

**Keep in mind, these are not necessarily books that were released in 2017, just books that I read in 2017. I’m also not including re-reads (like Harry Potter, The Great Gatsby, or Little Women) or books that are part of a series (like the Lunar Chronicles).
